* The majority of the shipping cost incurred when shipping via
Federal Express results from the insurance binder assigned to the specific
package. This insurance is not obtained from Federal Express and can
not be refunded if there is a delay in the delivery of your package by
Federal Express. Approximately $9.00 of the shipping cost is
actually due to freight and the rest applies to an insurance binder that
covers your package specifically. No matter how late Federal Express
is and no matter what their Customer Service Representatives might say,
the cost of the insurance binder is not refundable. Fed Ex can not
refund the cost of insurance because they do not insure our packages... No
matter what their customer service representatives might tell you, Fed Ex
insurance does not apply to jewelry or diamonds valued for more than
$500.00 but don't take our word for it, read the fine print in their
manual... Our twenty one (21) day inspection period begins from the
moment that you sign for the package not from when we send it.
