This 1.183 carat, G-color, VS-2 clarity, Crafted by Infinity round brilliant ideal cut diamond from High Performance Diamonds certainly looks tempting! It has an overall cut grade of AGS Ideal-0 as determined on the Platinum Light Performance grading platform which uses the proprietary Angular Spectrum Evaluation Tool (ASET) which demonstrates how the diamond is drawing light from the room and reflecting it back, as pictured to the left. Just look at all the red (brightness) exhibited by this diamond!
Paul Slegers of Crafted by Infinity Diamonds is a Master Diamond Cutter who is located in Antwerp, Belgium; his production rivals that of the best diamond cutters in the world! Every Crafted by Infinity diamond is optimized for maximum light return and visual performance, you can’t go wrong with his production, it’s top notch and that says a lot considering he introduced me as a “Diamond Snob” at a diamond conclave a few years back! It’s a vicious rumor, I swear…
I also like the look of this 1.228 carat, F-color, VS-1 clarity, Crafted by Infinity Diamond which is currently being offered by High Performance Diamonds it looks absolutely delicious! It is cut to center-range zero ideal cut proportions, optimized for light return and visual performance! AGS Ideal-0 and all that… The image to the left is of the diamond as seen through an Ideal Scope, which is designed to determine the amount of light leakage, which will appear as white, this diamond exhibits minimal light leakage, to the extent that is typical of super ideal cut diamonds of this high level of optical symmetry.[separator]
This 1.268 carat, H-color, VS-2 clarity, Crafted by Infinity Diamond from High Performance Diamonds is an excellent balance of characteristics, the H-color will face up “white” and helps to keep the price down… The lab report pictured to the left is the Platinum Light Performance diamond grading report from the American Gem Society Laboratory (AGSL) issued for this diamond. It shows that the diamond received individual grades of AGS Ideal-0 for Light Performance, Polish and Symmetry. The Light Performance grade takes the proportions of the diamond into account, but also grades the diamond for how effectively it makes use of the light it is exposed to. The green in the center of the table facet merely indicates that the diamond is drawing light from 45° which is the angle that separates the red and green colors that represent varying degrees of brightness within the diamond.[separator]
If you happen to share my passion for diamonds with blue fluorescence, then this 1.738 carat, I-color, VS-2 clarity, Crafted by Infinity Diamond from High Performance Diamonds should get your attention! It exhibits very strong blue fluorescence when the diamond is exposed to black light or strong ultra violet light… Blue fluorescence can help to offset the body color of a diamond, and looks absolutely amazing under black light, which causes the diamond to glow a beautiful neon-blue color! It’s very pretty, and the diamond will look perfectly normal when viewed under normal lighting, so it’s kind of a hidden secret power!
If you’re looking for something incredible over the two carat mark, then I’d go with this 2.178 carat, I-color, SI-1 clarity, Crafted by Infinity Diamond from High Performance Diamonds, because it gets you over the 2.00 carat mark without completely shattering the piggy bank! It’s cut to center range zero ideal cut proportions, and the inclusions look great! Naturally, it’s been graded by the AGSL with an overall cut grade of AGS Ideal-0 on the Platinum Light Performance grading platform.
Now I was in the mood to shop for diamonds weighing more than a carat today, but the reality is that the majority of diamonds purchased for engagement rings weigh less than a carat, so feel free to drop me a note if you’d like help finding a diamond of another carat weight, or if you have any other diamond related questions for that matter!
